Breast asymmetry correction in Italy

In case of asymmetry, two options can be considered:

• reduce the volume of the larger breasts through a single-sided breast reduction
  

• increase smaller breasts. In this circumstance, the treatment to be followed will be more complex to ensure that the operated breast does not differ from the other. In fact, if the expected increase is of medium-large size, it is possible to evaluate the hypothesis of intervening also on the side not to be operated through the insertion of a prosthesis. While for small increases, the hypothesis of using the lipofilling method may be considered, which guarantees a symmetrical result even with the passage of time
